The 2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody Looks Meaner and Corners Harder

The kit widens the Hellcat and R/T Scat Pack by 3.5 inches along with other performance upgrades.

• The new look widens the sedans by 3.5 inches and includes a host of performance upgrades.

• Dodge claims the widebody enhancements help make the 2020 Charger stickier and quicker around a racetrack than the model it replaces.

Dodge has officially revealed widebody versions of its most powerful Charger models. The setup is standard on every 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, which makes 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque in case anyone forgot, and is optional on the 2020 Charger R/T Scat Pack, which Dodge says is its best-selling Charger.

The kit widens both sedans by 3.5 inches and includes unique front and rear bumpers that are integrated into the prominent fender flares and lend the badass four-doors an even meaner appearance. The enhancement also brings wider and sticker Pirelli P Zero rubber that measures 305/35 and wraps 20-by-11-inch Carbon Black forged rims at all four corners. The widebody Chargers also receive 35 percent stiffer springs, thicker front and rear anti-roll bars, and a new electrically assisted steering system that allows adjustable settings.

Dodge claims the 2020 Charger SRT Hellcat can rip from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and complete the quarter-mile in 10.96 seconds. The automaker also says the widebody Hellcat can pull 0.96 g on the skidpad, which is highly impressive for what is essentially a rocket-fueled family sedan. The automaker also says the 2020 Charger Hellcat Widebody was 2.1 seconds faster than the outgoing model around a 2.1-mile racetrack.
