A well-sorted performer that's even cooler today than it was in ’69!
The stunner you see here is the beneficiary of a professional, frame-off restoration. Custom Classics is proud to offer up this immaculate 1969 Chevy Camaro Pro-Touring
show car for sale at a price of $129,500. According to them, the build
costs were far beyond the listing price of the car. If you are
interested, you can also make an offer
on the Camaro right here. A dyno sheet is also available and proves
that this bad boy currently produces approximately 506 horsepower with
boost turned way down.
This slick '69 Camaro is dressed in a
seamless coat of DuPont Chroma Premier that's highlighted by some
incredible body modifications. Just one look at this car’s rock-solid
body and it becomes evident that great care was taken to ensure every
panel is aligned to better-than-factory standards. The mirror-like
pigment is lustrous and all of the surfaces are ripple-free and
straight, thanks to a clean OEM sheet metal and high-quality replacement
panels. This Camaro is a pro-tourer that was built to exact
specifications by way of skilled craftsmanship and first-rate finishing
techniques.
Open the doors and you'll find a custom two-tone leather interior that
wraps firm leather buckets to provide an elevated level of appearance
and comfort. At the front, there is a custom leather-topped dashboard
with SW gauges above a premium satellite navigation audio system with
Bluetooth and Vintage Air climate controls. Beneath that, there is a
custom-built console in the center with a shifter and cupholders.
High-quality carpeting floods the floors between the factory foot pedals
and new door sill plates. Above that, a supple suede headliner features
a custom overhead console that runs from front to back and encompasses
two overhead LED interior lamps for convenience. A flashy color-coded
leather and billet steering wheel sits within a satin-finished tilt
steering column that provides good looks and a nice feel.
This 1969 Camaro Pro-Touring is so much more than its looks, though.
Pop the hood at your next local car show and be prepared to hear all the
oohs and ahhs. You may need to give everybody a second to catch their
breath. That’s because this Chevy’s smooth underhood compartment houses a
glorious aluminum LS6 twin-turbocharged V8 powerplant. It is mated to
a TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission. This beast is capable of
producing 1,000 horsepower once the boost is turned up and supporting
fuel is present. That’s right, four figures! A set of fresh twin K&N
filters direct air into two highly polished turbos.
Other
features include a beefy radiator, an MSD distributor, MSD box,
stainless steel headers, and high conductive plug wires. A polished
crisscrossed Power + Plus intake sits atop the engine with a
custom-build cover that helps hide the rest of the manifold bolts and
parts of the fuel injection plumbing. Additional accessories include
painless wiring, braided hoses, fittings, billet hood supports, and a
custom flattened out firewall to ensure that showgoers (spectators and
your competition alike) will have to pick up their jaws off the ground.
